Who doesn't like being told after losing their job or calling off a wedding that they'll get over it and they should have seen it coming?  A lot of people.  I'll explain why telling people this makes you a jerk and how there are jerks bigger than you ruining the world with their lack of empathy, how it impacts communities, why it is important, and how to learn it if you've lost it.
